EMG-MRT, MRT and VICO Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Promote Timor-Leste Stone in Singapore and Ilimanu Marble for Marina Square
DÍLI, 28 August 2026 (TATOLI) – EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda., Murak Rai Timor, E.P. (MRT) and VICO Construction Pte Ltd today signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation for the Singapore Timor-Leste Stone Promotion Center and Ilimanu Marble Supply Cooperation for Marina Square.
The signing ceremony was held at the Marina Square Sales Gallery in Dili.
The cooperation focuses on two key initiatives: Promoting the application and future supply of Ilimanu marble for the Marina Square project; and working together to establish the Singapore Timor-Leste Stone Promotion Center as an overseas platform to introduce Timor-Leste natural stone to Singapore, ASEAN and international markets.
Under the cooperation framework, EMG-MRT will provide Ilimanu marble samples, product information and technical support for the Marina Square project, while VICO will support coordination with the project team regarding suitable applications, specifications and future supply requirements.
The parties will also work together on the proposed Singapore promotion center, which is intended to showcase not only Ilimanu marble but also suitable natural stone products from Timor-Leste more broadly.
The center is expected to serve architects, designers, developers, contractors, distributors and other industry partners, creating a permanent platform for market development and business engagement.

The parties aim to begin preparations immediately, including marble sample review for Marina Square and development of the proposed Singapore promotion platform.
