DILI, july 27 2020 (TATOLI)– Former Leader Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão asked Tatoli to maintain its function by focusing on accuracy, independence, clarity, integrity, and credibility, to gain the public trust as a means to ensure it becomes a reference point.
Xanana noted that Tatoli Journalists do professional work which informs of the activities that the government is doing and repeats them down back to the people, he also stated that Tatoli must continue with the contribution to the development of the State.
“Integrity by TATOLI as a State Agency is important for the public; It helps inform them, so they will know what the State is doing for the people. With this, you can see how important integrity is for the state agency TATOLI,” Xanana said.
Xanana thanked the Government efforts for Building up TATOLI as the Government official Agency to publish the information related to the work of State and life of Society.
TATOLI, IP was transformed from ETNA (East Timor News Agency) and became TATOLI. This News Agency was approved by the Council of Minister and published in the Republic News Paper on March 16, 2016.
