DILI, 27 august (TATOLI)- China Government announced a 40.000 donation of face masks to the Border Patrol Unite Police (UPF) for the prevention and transmission of covid-19.
China’s Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Xiao Jianguo representing the Government handed over the donation masks to the Interior Vice Minister, António Armindo, at Aitarak Laran Dili.
The Vice Minister, António Armindo, has told the journalist, that the masks will distribute to the Patrol Unite Police and the Immigration service as well as other services.
“The Ministry will do the distribution of masks to the UPF and the Immigration within this week,” Vice Minister Armindo said.
So far, the Embassy has also provided the masks to the Ministry of Education, Minister of Higher Education Science and Culture and Ministry of State Administration and other institutions.
