DILI, 11 january, 2021 (TATOLI) – Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, Taur Matan Ruak on Monday offered his condolences to the families of the deceased in the crash of a Sriwijaya Air flight in Indonesia.
“On the behalf of the Government of Timor-Leste, extend Deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate plane crash in Indonesia, last saturday” PM Taur Matan Ruak wrote in a tweet.
The Sriwijaya Air Flight 182, a Boeing 737-500 plane, lost contact with the aviation authorities shortly after taking off in Jakarta. The flight was carrying 62 people and is feared to have crashed into the sea.
