DILI, 2 february, 2021 (TATOLI) – The China’s doctors, Li Musheng, said today that if Chinese Government is available to support Timor-Leste to fight against covid-19 as if the number of cases is continued to rise.
“If the number of infections increases in the country and the Timorese government needs specialist doctors from China to guarantee the treatment of patients with covid-19, the Chinese government is ready to help Timor-Leste,” Li Musheng said after meeting with the Prime Minister, Taur Matan Ruak, at the Government Palace.
Musheng recalled that several Chinese doctors have been providing supports in the prevention and treatment of various diseases in Timor-Leste.
He also referred that the Government of China has already made multiple supports available, such as drugs and personal protective equipment to the National Hospital of Guido Valadares (HNGV) for the treatment of various diseases during the coronavirus situation.
He added that many of Chinese doctors have traveled to the remote areas in Timor-Leste for providing the treatment to 1,000 patients suffering from different diseases.
