DILI, 13 march, 2021 (TATOLI) – The Integrated Crisis Management Center (CIGC, SS) recommends to the Government for the extension of the sanitary fence and mandatory confinement in Dili, which justifies with the increase in the number COVID-19 cases.
The statement was revealed yesterday by the Coordinator of the Prevention and Mitigation of the Covid-19 in Timor-Leste, Rui Maria de Araújo.
“The CIGC will recommend to the Government for the extension of the sanitary fence in the Municipality of Dili, based on the increasing the number of active cases in the country,” he said.
The official also stressed that Timor-Leste currently records 76 active cases of covid-19.
It said that the Council of Ministers approved a sanitary fence and mandatory confinement for one week from March 9 to 15, in the Municipality of Dili.
