DILI, 05 may 2021 (TATOLI)— Japan Government offers 38 units of ambulances to the Ministry of Health Timor-Leste to help the work of the Ministry during the time of the pandemic.
“These ambulances will be distributed to 12 municipalities including Oé-Cusse Raioa. these ambulances will help bring the patient of covid-19 and to assist another essential working of the Ministry of Health,” Director General of Working Cooperative Ministry of Health, Marcelo Amaral, told Tatoli.
Despite there is no detailed explanation about the cooperation between both government concerning the assistance, Mr. Amaral said, among the 38 ambulances, they have distributed one ambulance to the Secretariat State for Civil Protection (SEPS), 11 are in the Ministry of Health, 10 ambulance still in the airport, and the rests 16 underway.
According to Amaral, they will distribute ahead of the 11 unit ambulances to the municipalities, and this is not including RAEOA.
“We will provide one ambulance to the National Service of Medical Emergency ambulance,” he explained.
According to the agenda, the distribution will be done on May 06, 2021, to other municipalities.
