DILI, 06 july 2021 (TATOLI)- Timor-Leste National Police (PNTL) has collaborated with the Indonesian National Police (KAPOLRI) to control the border line between two countries.
“To anticipate the entry of the COVID-19 variant Delta enter Timor-Leste, PNTL has collaborated with the Indonesian National Police (KAPOLRI) to tighten security at all border lines between Timor-Leste and Indonesia to be aware of the COVID-19 variant Delta entering Timor-Leste and Atambua, Kupang through illegal passing of the border,” said Commandant Euclides Belo to Journalist of TATOLI News Agency at Bairo-Pite on tuesday.
Belo appealed to all people who live on the border to collaborate with PNTL to combat COVID-19 variant Delta not entering Timor-Leste.
He also asked all people in the border if they found someone who attempted to illegally enter illegal the territory of Timor-Leste the better report them to PNTL to take action because this variant Delta is very dangerous to kill the people.
