DILI, 08 september 2021 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste’s Ministry of State Administration (MSA) on Tuesday unveiled a Us$42 million budget request for 2022 fiscal year.
“The US$ 42 million aims to build houses for vulnerable people and will be used for villages ‘s development,” said MSA Miguel Pereira at the Ministry of Finance, in Aitarak Laran, Dili, on tuesday.
He explained, from US $42 million mentioned US$25 million will allocate to build 1,254 houses for vulnerable people (Uma ba Kbit Laek) across 442 villages in Timor Leste and US$17 million will be placed for the National Rural Development Program. (PNDS) to support the Villages ‘s program in the entire territory of Timor Leste.
