DILI, 13 september 2021 (TATOLI)-President of the Municipal Authority of Aileu, Abel da Conceição said the number of people not receiving vital vaccine doses increased across all municipalities considering the lack of interaction between MoH and the communities living in the remote areas.

“Meanwhile, the percent of people receiving the vaccine in Aileu municipality is declined. because most people do not have knowledge and understanding about the vaccine itself,” Abel informed TATOLI at the Ministry of Finance office Aitarak laran, this Monday.

According to a recent report from the Ministry of Health, only 27.6% population in Aileu have received first jabs, while 14.6% refers to the percent of populations that have completed their vaccine.

At this point, Abel asked the community in Aileu to cooperate with the government and health workers to get their vaccine.

According to Abel, this is a good measure to prevent the transmission of COVID1-19 and to continue economic activity during the pandemic, everyone is required to get the vaccine.

“To return to the normal situation and resuming all the activities everyone is required to get the vaccine, ” he said.
