DILI, 6 november 2021 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste recorded four new COVID-19 cases, nine recoveries, and the active cases were dropped to four, said Rui Maria de Araujo, the Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK).
According to today’s figure, the four new cases were detected in Diili.
Of the new four COVID-19 cases, one of those was in moderate condition and three were in mild condition.
In the past 24 hours, the National Health Laboratory (LNS) has performed 127 PCR tests, including one via contact tracing, 30 via random screening, 69 for the international travel authorization, and 27 in quarantines.
The SIJK kept calling on communities to practice the health and safety guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the WHO to continue combating the spread of the virus.
Since Timor-Leste’s outbreak began in April 2020, the country has recorded 19.799 cases, 18.674 recoveries, and 122 deaths.
In Timor-Leste, of the 754.864 eligible groups, 75.1 percent had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which 49.3 percent have been fully vaccinated.
