DILI, 09 november 2021 (TATOLI) – In the past 24 hours, Timor-Leste recorded five new COVID-19 cases, no recoveries, and 10 active cases, said Rui Maria de Araujo Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK).
According to today’s figure, four of the new cases were detected in Dili and one was in Covalima.
There are two people with mild condition of COVID-19 in hospital.
In the past 24 hours, the National Health Laboratory (LNS) has performed 114 PCR tests, including one via contact tracing, 56 through random screening, and 29 for the international travel authorization and 28 in quarantine.
The SIJK kept calling on communities to practice the health and safety guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the WHO to continue combating the spread of the virus.
Since Timor-Leste’s outbreak began in April 2020, the country has recorded 19.804 cases, 19.672 recoveries, 122 deaths.
In Timor-Leste, of the 754.864 eligible groups, 75.9 percent had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which 50.3 percent have been fully vaccinated.
