DILI, 22 november 2021 (TATOLI) – Around 247.757 students of 1.058 schools across the country begin sitting for the third-trimester final exam on november 22.
The 1058 schools are made up of 988 primary schools, 111 high schools, and 59 vocational-technical schools.
“Today, about 247.757 of the 305.981 current active students across the country commence sitting for the third-trimester final exam,” Luis Manuel da Costa Fernandes, the Director-General of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEJD) told TATOLI at his office, in Dili, today.
Fernandes said of the 247.757 students, 240.276 students are from 988 primary schools, 28.373 from 111 high schools and 10.248 are from 59 vocational-technical schools.
The third-trimester final exam has been set to begin on 22 november, 2021.
In addition, Fernandes said around 58.224 of the year 12 students would also sit for the National Final Exam to take place on 13 to 15 december 2021.
He said of the 58.224, around 31.143 students are from 988 primary schools, 22.223 students from 111 high schools, and 4.851 students from vocational-technical schools.
All in all, of the 305.981 students, 247.757 were sitting for the third-trimester final exam from 22 to 27 november, whereas 58.224 of the year 12 students would be sitting for the National Final Exam on 13 to 15 december 2021.
