DILI, 22 november 2021 ( TATOLI)- The Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste, donates $1,000 to the Association of Impairment of Timor – Leste ( AHDMTL) for accommodation purposes.
Chinese Ambassador to Timor – Leste Xiao Jianguo said this small fund was donated by Chinese traders in Timor – Leste through its Embassy to the AHMDTL.
“I came to AHDMTL to see directly the condition of AHDMTL and also to support the fund of $1,000 to be used for their activities,” The Chinese Ambassador Jianguo told TATOLI in AHDMTL ‘s office Manleuna, Dili on Sunday.
Jianguo said that AHDMTL needs support and attention for them to be able to participate in the national development.
Director of AHDMTL Gaspar Afonso thanked The Chinese Government for the support and attention given to AHMDTL and hope that this assistance will be continued in the future.
Afonso informed that this small fund will be used to buy the foods such as rice, vegetables, and other important material for the 38 members who living in the AHDMTL ‘s Dormitory in Manleuana, Dili.
