DILI, 22 november 2021 (TATOLI) – The National University of Timor-Lorosa’e (UNTL) and the Betano Polytechnic Institute (IPB) are now open for applications for the february 2022 Intake.
The registration deadline for the upcoming february 2022 intake is 3rd december 2021, with the first semester is set to commence in february 2022.
There are two types of regimes to be offered by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Culture (MoHESC) of the 2021 intake, including General and Especial Regime.
“The General Regime is for the high school students who will be finishing their high school this year. The standard admission requirement for these students is depended on their A-Levels marks. Next, the Especial Regime is focusing on receiving the children of the veterans, vulnerable families, and diplomats as well as the members of the Timorese National Police (PNTL), and the National Defense Force (F-FDTL) and so on,” Director-General of the MoHESC, Maria Filomena Lay Guterres told TATOLI, in Dili, today.
Guterres called on those who graduated from 2018 to visit the registration centers at the Municipal Education Department in the 12 municipalities, including RAEOA to register for the admission tests.
“They will get to know the standard admission requirements once they visit the registration centers in the 12 municipalities and RAEOA,” she said.
Guterres added the 2021 intake of the UNTL was nearly 5.000 students, adding UNTL decided to take more students last year as many couldn’t make it to study overseas due to Covid-19.
