To participate in the Sea Games, Five Timorese boxers have trained physically and technically

DILI, 14 february 2022 (TATOLI)- The Boxing Coach Federation of the Amador Boxing in Timor-Leste (FBATL), Gil dos Santos Isaac, informed that, FBATL had trained five boxers physically and technically to represent Timor-Leste in the Sea Games.

“We have trained five boxers physically and technically, the training has started from january 5 routinely up now from morning to evening,” boxing coach Gil dos Santos Isaac told Tatoli at the Boxing Training Center Benfica, Colmera Dili, this monday.

Boxing Coach Isaac, explained the training was focused on technical and physical how to hit the opponent’s target and how to parry when the opponent hit, the boxers will play based on the weight classification.

He explained that all the boxers are in stable health, the five boxers are Elídio da Conceição, José Barreto, Elizio Gaio, Jeremias Amaral, Savon Ramos and Delio Mozinho.

Based on the schedule, the Vietnam Sea Games will be held from 12 to 24 of May 2022, while Timor-Leste will present modalities such as; Athletes, Swimming, Taekwondo, Karate-do, Weightlifting, Beach volleyball, Football and Boxing.
