DILI, 09 march 2022 (TATOLI)- The national institute of labor’s development (INDMO) and Australia pacific training coalition (APTC) signed an agreement to implement the project on advancing the educational system on Technique vocational training (TVET) in Timor-Leste.
According to an official note provided by INDMO, INDMO and APCT signed an agreement on evaluating the ability development of Timorese.

“The training is for development of Timorese ability. It is to ensure all Timorese people can gain life skills,” said a note accessed by Tatoli Agency today.
The Director of INDMO, Isabel Fernandes De Lima said the main purpose of this agreement is to strengthen the educational system that is offering a technical vocational training program.
The partnership between INDMO and APTC is to regulate and monitor TVEP programs. It requires more authority to be controlling at the National and International level.
On purpose to increase the institutional capability and provide advocacy on TVET ability development.
It is also to focus on labor mobility in national and international level, providing national qualification and enhancing TVET profit, as a graduated carrier for Timorese.
This partnership signed an agreement on bilateral development between the Australian government in last july, 2021.

The agreement was held in the INDMO office and witnessed by the representative of Minister of Economy Affairs and coordinating (MCAE), Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment (SEFOPE) and Ambassador of Australia.
It is known that Australia and Timor-Leste are close neighbors, with a shared history and strong people-to-people links. Australia has been at the forefront of international support for Timor-Leste since independence in 2002 and remains Timor-Leste’s largest development and security partner.
Australia has provided financial support for Timor-Leste. It is referred for financial support on bilateral allocation in 2021-2022 with the estimated budget 73.0 million USD.
