MALAYSIA, 03 may 2022 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Joana Veneranda Amaral, congratulated the Timor-Leste national under-23 football team for their victory against Malaysian National Team in a friendly match, on april 29.
“Representing the Government of Timor-Leste in Malaysia, I appreciated the win of the National Team over their Malaysian counterpart in a friendly match on frday,” said Amaral on saturday (30/04), in Malaysia.
Amaral thanked the manager of the National Team, Fabio Maciel da Silva, who had made a significant transformation and progress in the Timor-Leste’s national team.
“I would like to express my special appreciation to Fabio Maciel da Silva for making a significant transformation in the Timor-Leste’s National Team. So, keep up the good work to develop the talent of the Timorese players,” she said.
Amaral believed that the national team under Silva’s leadership would perform well in the upcoming SEA Games competition.
In addition, Fabio, one of the national team thanked Amaral for her support: “On behalf of the national team, I would like to express our deep appreciation for all the support, especially the moral and spiritual support given by our ambassador in Malaysia.”
The captain of the National Team also thanked the ambassador for all the support and delicious food.
“As the captain of the national team, I just want to express our appreciation to the ambassador for celebrating our 2-1 win together,” he said.
