DILI, 5 august 2022 (TATOLI)- Pelican Paradise Company presented the building design of the five stars hotel to the Government of Timor Leste to begin the construction in November 2022.
Director of Pelican Paradise, Jeremias Chang said purpose of the presentation was to brief the government Ministry of Economy Affairs and Coordination (MoEAC) on the progress of the project-designed.
‘’The presentation is made to gather the feedback and evaluation from the government before the construction is officially launched in November,’’ Jeremias Chan told the media at Timor-Plaza, CBD 3, thursday.
According to Chang, due to the global inflation, the Company has settled a schedule with the government to present the progress of building design every two months: “We normally stick to the timeline of presentation with the government from January until this month,”
Meanwhile Minister of Economy Affairs and Coordination, Joaquim Amaral said that this presentation is about the final report on the building designed by Pelican paradise in coordination with the Ministry of Public Work (MoPW).
‘’Today pelican paradise introduces the final report of building design, it is in coordination with the minister of public work (MoPW),” he explained
Amaral explained, that in the construction of the five stars hotel, Pelican Paradise Company will involve several local companies to support the construction, and the tender was closed on july 2022, with no results having been announced.
“The mechanism to construct the building is to conclude first the result of the tender and collect the technical documents before launching the construction,”
So far the design presented by the Company shows that the company will build a total of 300 rooms, a convention center for 500 persons, 10 villas, a restaurant with an international facility, seven gardens, room for fitness, gold fields, sky bridges, and others however according to plan, which cost more than 200 million USD for three years.
According to the plan, the company will build the apartment in the first phase.
