INAP facilitate 180 public servants to attend the English Course in Timor-Leste

DILI, 23 february 2023 (TATOLI)- The National Director of Training and Capacity Building of the National Institution of Public Administration (INAP), José de Araujo Chang, said, INAP has been facilitating 180 public servants to attend the English language Course in Timor-Leste.

“INAP has been facilitating 180 people to attend the English language courses during six months at Lorosa’e English Language Institute (LELI) since 2022,” José de Araujo Chang, told TATOLI at his office in Comoro, Dili on thursday.

Chang explained that the English course program is important because English is an international language, therefore the English course program by INAP aims to prepare public servants who wish to continue their studies overseas.

“English is an international language, therefore INAP is collaborating with the Loro Sa’e English Language Institute (LELI) to provide elementary English courses for public servants to be more effective and professional in communication” he said.

In addition, Chang said that his part had collaborated with Flinders University in Australia and would accommodate the best graduate of the English elementary course to attend the program of the homestay in Australia, to have regular conversations to improve their English.

“We have collaborated with Flinders University in Australia and the university willing to accept the best elementary English course, to attend the program in Australia,”
