CPLP’s CM Extraordinary meeting  approve three resolutions in Luanda

DILI, april 3, 2023 (TATOLI)- The Community of Portuguese Speaking Country (CPCL) Council Ministers held an extraordinary meeting in Luanda to discuss and have approval on three resolutions.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MoAFC), Adaljiza Albertina Xavier Magno said CPLP council ministers held an extraordinary meeting in Luanda and finally approved the CPLP statute, aiming to have alteration on observatory regulation which is associated with the creation of economic entrepreneurs’ subject in the executive secretariat of CPLP.

“The principal objective of this extraordinary meeting is to engage CPCL programs proposal from Angola for the CPLP rotation president,’’ Minister of Foreign Affairs and Coordination, Adaljiza Albertina Xavier told TATOLI Agency last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Magno said that the extraordinary meeting also approved three resolutions including The approval of the CPLP statue, the Alteration of observatory regulation, and the Creation of the Economy and Entrepreneurs subject.

“Therefore, Angola invites the Minister of Foreign Affairs from other countries member to have a deep discussion before the approval,’’ She explained

It is recalled that from 2014 to 2016 Timor-Leste proposal focus on economic cooperation.

At this time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, Adaljiza Magno made a crosscutting visit with the Minister of foreign affairs of Angola to share ideas on strengthening bilateral cooperation between both countries.

“Minister foreign affairs Angola informed that Angola wishes to establish its embassy in Timor-Leste. I also invited Launda to more focus on economic cooperation,’’ He concluded

So far CPLP is composed of nine county members including Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea Bissau, Giné-Bisau, Giné Ekuatoriál, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé e Prínsipe, Luanda, and Timor-Leste.
