DILI, 01 february 2021 (TATOLI) – The Ambassador of the Republic of China , Xiao Jiangou, said that, Chinese Government attempt to continue supports Timorese Government in the prevention of covid-19 and the country recovery.
“At the meeting, we talked about our situation regarding the existing partnership between Timor-Leste and China. The Prime Minister took the opportunity to thank the Chinese Government for its unconditional support in several areas. Therefore, I informed Prime Minister, Taur that China is set to maintain its cooperation with the Timor-Leste, in the prevention of covid-19 and in the economy recovery ”, Ambassador Xiao Jiangou informed the journalists after the meeting.
At the same time Ambassador Jiangou also praised the services provided by several Chinese companies, highlighting those were directly involved in the construction of roads.
“Among the various supports that the Government of China intends to performs, our focus is on prevention for the covid-19 with concrete measures that aim to stop an eventual spread of the pandemic”, Ambassador said.
