DILI, 25 may 2023 (TATOLI)- Timor-Leste inclusive development Center (CDI-TL) congratulated the victory of Political Party Congresso Nasionál Reconstrusao Timor-Leste (CNRT) on its victory in the parliamentary election 2023.
The Executive Director of CDI-TL, Martino Guterres, with CNRT’s victory, hopes that the party will prioritize inclusive programs.
“We believe that the new government can be prioritizing the inclusive programs, as CNRT has mentioned on its political campaign,” The executive director of CDI-TL, Martino Guterres told Tatoli Agency in his office, Becora, this thursday.
He added that promoting inclusive programs is a main priority to support people, who are living with disabled situations to access the inclusive facility.
“We are very thrilled about the victory of CNRT. They are compromised to dignify the right of people with disability,” he said
CDITL believes CNRT will continue implementing inclusive programs such as inclusive education, to ensure the participation of disabled people in the country’s development.
“I suggested to the CNRT to provide enough budget for the implementation of inclusive programs” he concluded.
The CDITL was rehabilitated by the Charismatic and national leader, Xanana Gusmão in 2021. Now the CDI-TL has registered 50 disabled members.
