DILI, 09 agostu 2021 (TATOLI)— The Vice Minister of Health, Bonifácio ‘Mau Coli’ dos Reis, informed that 100.620 doses of Pfizer vaccine from COVAX will arrive in Timor-Leste next month, saying the vaccine will cover four municipalities including Dili, Covalima, Bobonaro, and Ermera.
“The target will be the students from 12-17 years of age,” Mau Coli told the reporters at the MSSI hall Caicoli Dili.
According to Mau Coli, there are 181 thousand people to receive Pfizer vaccine, including 145 thousand students and 36 thousand non-students.
Maun Coli added that this time, they will focus on four municipalities, Dili, Suai, Bobonaro, and Ermera because the number of the covid-19 is mostly identified in these municipalities.
He also added that, the MoH has prepared the development guideline starting in August, for example, the control for the cold chain system, the refrigerators should meet the mandatory requirements – with a temperature range from 90 to 60 degrees Celsius.
