Deep in my heart, you are engraved
With all the memories I can’t forget
You made a life here in my heart
Through your life that is so bright.
You were my teacher in time of fall
You helped me rise to stand so tall
You were the healer whenever I got wounded
Through your words of advice, I was healed
You truly listened to me like a mother
You directed me to face the world and be a fighter.
You were my feet if I could not stand
You were my mind if I could not understand
You were my heart if I couldn’t feel
You’re truly a great teacher to me!
