DILI, 29 october 2021 (TATOLI) – Australia’s Ambassador to Timor – Leste Peter Robert praised the Team Work of Covid-19 Prevention and the Center Integrated Management of Crises ( CIGC) as Timor – Leste had recorded zero cases of Covid – 19 temporarily.
“I give my congratulation to all the people in Timor – Leste for their contributions which has resulted from the number of COVID-19 cases decreased and Timor-Leste temporarily recorded zero cases,” Robert told reporters in the Ministry of Defense’s office, Fatuhada Dili, today.
Mr. Robert added that, although the positive cases of Covid-19 have temporarily decreased, the hope is that all the people of Timor – Leste continue to cooperate with the CIGC and the Interministerial Team for the Prevention of Covid -19.
“Australia is proud that Timor – Leste has handled Covid-19 seriously. We hope that the Zero Covid-19 case will be maintained for us to work together to recover Timor – Leste’s economy in the future and Australia is ready to help Timor-Leste in all sectors to build Timor – Leste in a brighter future,” Said Robert.
