DILI, 23 february 2022 (TATOLI)—The ASEAN Football Federation U-23 Championship (AFF), Timor-Leste “Crocodile Team” is focused on the Semi-Final Match against Vietnam.
The principal coach of the Timor-Leste football team Under 23, Fabio Joaquim Maciel da Silva said the Timor-Leste team is focused on preparation for a big match to play against Vietnam. The ASEAN Football Federation U-23 Championship match will be played in Cambodia, on thursday, 24 february evening.
“We have a solid team and are ready to play against Vietnam. We are focused on winning the match. The result will be shown after the match,” The principal coach of Timor-Leste football team Under 23, Fabio Joaquim Maciel da silva told TATOLI Agency via phone, this wednesday.
He added, it is known that in the last preview game Timor-Leste won two games and allowed the Crocodile team to go to the Semi-Final team. It was a good job done by our team, however, it is a very hard word that results in us winning the victory, as we beat Brunei Darussalam and Cambodia.
Mr. Fabio has instructed all players to focus on playing against Vietnam. Timor-Leste is required to mark a new victory in football history in the world.
He affirmed that all players are in very good health and ready to play in the Semifinal match on AFF Champions U-23.
“It is a big match for us, my advice is that all players should work on affording to win the match. It is a valuable history for Timor-Leste,” He encouraged.
It is known that Timor-Leste is currently leading group A with seven points. Cambodia is runner up with a collection of 6 points.
Timor-Leste was drawing with the Philippines with school 2-2. In the second match, Timor-Leste collected three points after beating Brunei Darussalam 3-1, and in the last game Timor-Leste won 1-0 against Cambodia.
