DILI, 01 march 2022 (TATOLI)- The Vice President of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), Domingos Barreto, said the debate of the candidates of the President Republic for the period 2022-2027 will be held on 15 of march in the Novo Turismo Hotel, Lecidere at 17:00-11: 30 nights.
“The debate for the presidential candidate will take place in the Novo Turismo Hotel on march 15, 2022, by using two languages, namely Portuguese and Tetum,” Vice President of CNE Barreto told TATOLI via phone call, this tuesday.
There are 16 candidates of the President of the Republic who will conduct the debate on 15 march, 2022, they are Isabel da Costa Ferreira (Independent candidate), Hermes Correia Barros (Independent candidate), Francisco Guterres “Lu- Olo (Fretilin Party), Maria Angela Freitas da Silva (Trabalhista Party), Rogerio Tiago Lobato (Independent candidate).
And then, Anacleto Pinto Pereira (PDRT Party), Maria Helena Lopes Pires (Independent candidate), Lere Anan Timur (Independent candidate), Armanda Berta dos Santos (KHUNTO Party), Antero Benedito da Silva (Independent candidate), Martinho Gusmão (Independent candidate), José Ramos Horta (Independent candidate, backup by CNRT ‘s Party), Felisberto Araújo Barros (Independent candidate) and Mariano Asanami Sabino Lopes (Democratic Party).
