DILI, 27 agusut 2022 (TATOLI)- Japan Government and the Japanese Demining and Reconstruction Assistance Center (JDRAC) agree to support 20 20 staff of the Public Management Institution (IGE-I.P) to participate in a training of management and operation of heavy machines.
The training was offered following the agreement signed between the Ambassador of Japan to Timor-Leste, Kinefuchi MASAMI, and the chief representative of the Japanese Demining and Reconstruction Assistance Center (JDRAC), Yuu Yoshimori.
The statement released by the Japan Embassy says the training aims to enhance the capacity of mechanics to operate heavy vehicles and operational machines.
“IGE-I.P is most required for more human resource training to reflect for the progress and achievement. so They will focus on training for Technique maintenance and management ability,”
This project is the last project of the three years project implemented in 2020 with the funding from the Japan Government worth 929,847 USD implemented by JDRAC for three years.
“This year’s training will benefit 20 participants, while the 20 participants will share the knowledge with about 100 staff from IGE-IP,”
Since 2020, Japan has provided two of JDRAC’s specialists from japan. They have trained 19 staff from IGE-IP and Minister of Public Work and also 5 engineers from the National University of Timor-Leste.
